Rev. Granville McKenzie was elected to his present position
as Senior Pastor in June 2003, shortly after the passing of
Rev. F. Wesley McKenzie, his father and mentor. Over the years,
he has served the congregation in various roles including bus
driver, Sunday School teacher, Youth Director, Music Director,
Secretary-Treasurer and Assistant Pastor. He was ordained in
April, 2001 and graduated the same year from Tyndale Seminary
in Toronto with the Master of Theological Studies degree. In
addition, he has over 20 years of business experience in sales
and accounting. He and his darling wife Verona share life with
Jonathan and Asher, their precious gifts from God. |

Desmond’s introduction to ministry came through teaching
Sunday School as a teenager. After completing an Economics degree
at York University, his love of teaching led him to a career
in corporate training and development that has reached across
North America. He has been a key contributor to our assembly
in the areas of Christian education, communications and leadership
development. He is married to Rhonda, and together they are
blessed with three wonderful children, Ryan, Kyle and Kayla.

Melva has been attending Faith Sanctuary for the past 20 years.
She recently joined the pastoral staff at Faith Sanctuary as
the Minister of Congregational Care. Over the years, she has
been involved in various ministries including Sunday School
teacher, Usher/Greeter, and Bible Quiz Coach. She oversees the Prison Evangelism ministry and is the director of our Youth Ministries for ages 13-18. Although
Melva is extremely occupied in these various ministries, she
is in pursuit of a Masters in Divinity in counseling. She is
happily married to Walter Lewis. |
